8.Loosenthesidelockingnutonthehangerbracket
justenoughtoallowtheeccentricplatetobe
adjusted(Figure51).Usea3/8inchdriveextension
onasocketwrenchtomanipulatetheeccentricplate.
Usethewrenchtorepositiontheheightofthecutter
deckandadjusttothedesiredheight.
9.Stopthedeckattheadjustedpositionandtightenthe
sidelockingnutonthehangerbrackettoholdthe
newposition(Figure51).Tightentherearlocking
nutonthehangerbracket.
10.Continuelevelingthedeckbycheckingthe
front-to-rearbladeslope;refertoAdjustingthe
Front-to-RearBladeSlope.

Checkthefront-to-rearbladelevelanytimeyouinstall
thecutterdeck.Ifthefrontofthecutterdeckismore
than5/16inch(7.9mm)lowerthantherearofthe
cutterdeck,adjustthebladelevelusingthefollowing
instructions:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengage
thebladecontrolswitch.
2.Movethemotioncontrolleversoutwardtothe
parkposition,stoptheengine,removethekey,and
waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Checktheairpressureofallfourtyres.Ifneeded,
adjusttotherecommendedination;referto
CheckingtheTyrePressureintheDriveSystem
Maintenancesection.
4.Checkandadjusttheside-to-sidebladelevelifyou
havenotcheckedthesetting;refertoLevelingthe
CutterDeckfromSide-to-Side.
5.Settheheight-of-cutatpositionD[3inch(76mm)]
andcarefullyrotatethebladessotheyarefacing
fronttorear(Figure52).
